Simple And Elegant White Christmas Decor

There is something so appealing about a home decorated for Christmas in simple yet elegant white.  It's not really rustic, it's more charming and peaceful.  I am not a big fan of brilliant white because it tends to be cold. When I say white, I actually mean a creamy white......one that is soft and warm.

I decorated in this style years ago but have had more colorful and sparkling Christmases lately. For some reason I have the desire to go simple again. I will be collecting decorations over the next 12 months as I definitely am planning to have a Blanc Noel next year.

Just because it is simple doesn't mean it can't have some bling!

This takes my breath away!

Another reason a wreath makes a great chair decoration. This one serves as a place card.

Hang some shimmering old crystals in the window. You can find the old prisms at flea markets, collectible and antique markets, thrift stores. Collect them throughout the year for a wonderful addition to your Christmas.

These dancers are the perfect example of "simple but elegant". Look for accessories like these to add to your white Christmas.

It's all here....soft candlelight, mistletoe, fresh greens, crystal, lace, and creamy white bows.

Invest in brass and crystal .....the combination is stunning at Christmas.

Little unexpected touches of Holiday cheer.

Garlands with white ribbon are so elegant.

Delicate linen and lace make the perfect stocking to hand on your white Christmas mantle.

Make a pretty window with stencil and paint. Just create a Christmas village....all in white of course.

Make a triple wreath accessory like the one in this image. Remember they are beautiful when hung over a mirror.

Welcome visitors in from the cold with white lights and simple green wreaths hung from each window.

Boxwood makes the loveliest wreaths. They always seem to have the simple, elegant look.

White trees have a magical quality about them. What make this setting so special is the ribbon and doilies hung from the ceiling. I always decorate from the ceiling down so there isn't a blank space above the Christmas tree. This gives you a great opportunity to get creative.
