Brown and green always complimented each other.Just take a look outside, nature is a great decorator. All shades of brown seem to look good with all shades of green. It's just a matter of preference, I don't think you can go wrong with this combination. I also love the tropical feel that many times comes across when these two colors are paired together. These colors work well in design styles ranging from traditional to contemporary.
I am choosing to concentrate on shades of lime green for this post and I hope these images will help if you are considering making a change or are having problems pulling your green and brown room together.

This bed and the brown leopard rug definitely give this room an exotic feel.
I love this room! It is perfection in brown pale lime and pink.
I like how this inset of wallpaper give the illusion of a headboard. Think "big" when selecting accessories. Like the vase in the corner, they make big statements.
This green and taupe room is decorated reminiscent of the Dorothy Draper style. She used alot of white trimwork and the way the mirrors are displayed looks like her style. Using two semicircular rugs is a fabulous idea.

Great use of pattern to give the feel of texture. Green pops so well against brown.
Alot going on but it is pulled together well. I would probably select different coverlets but it still works.
The window treatments and pillows make this room interesting.

This room has a very "natural" feel because of the colors and the textures.
The cream coverlet and curtains help to soften the boldness of this green room.
The wallpaper and the tufted headboard are perfection. Toss in the touches of lime and you have a wonderful bedroom.
